Christmas Season

Christmas Season and Celebration in December

“For a child is born to us,
a son is given to us.
The government will rest on His shoulders.
And He will be called:
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
His government and its peace
will never end.
He will rule with fairness and justice from the throne of His ancestor David
for all eternity.
The passionate commitment of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies
will make this happen!” (Isaiah 9:6-7).

Without The Birth of Jesus Christ, we would not know the Saviour of the World.

Christmas is beautiful. It is one of the most important celebrations of the year in Christianity. It is the season Father God Almighty chose to reveal His Son Jesus Christ to the world, the Precious Gift for all people He had prepared even before the world began, The Light to reveal Him, God, to the nations of the earth, fulfilling the Great News of Hope and Salvation He Promised His people through His many prophets.

God’s prophecies are all extremely important. The Birth of Jesus Christ led the many others that followed, like the Crucifixion, Resurrection, the Ascension of Jesus Christ into Heaven, etc., which were all God’s prophecies through His prophets fulfilled, not to mention all the ones that are still to be fulfilled like Jesus Christ’s Second Coming.

Without the Birth of Jesus Christ, we would not know the Saviour of the world, and no human would have met Him.

When God shares His plan with us and promises us things, or even when anybody promises things, until they fulfil them, they remain just a promise to us. Humans often promise things they do not do, but God always keeps His promises, fulfils His prophecies, and counts on Himself to make those wonders bigger than us and beyond our comprehension happen.

We don’t see what God will do, but we believe by faith and trust He will do what He says, and before we know it, the time comes swiftly, and then He does it, and we see it and praise Him.

Suppose The Birth of Christ from a virgin that God announced through His prophets had never happened; we would still be waiting for the Birth of The Messiah, Jesus Christ, even today. The beautiful sacrificial love the Lord Jesus Christ demonstrated on the Cross to save us from our sins would not have happened if His Birth had never happened first. This is why the Christmas season means a lot to the devoted Christians.

The way by which Christ was meant to save humanity from the darkness was not from His throne in Heaven but by coming to earth as God in the human Flesh to introduce Himself and His Father to us all and fulfil His Father’s will on the Cross.

Now we know, thanks to His sojourn on earth, His death on the Cross, His teachings and the multiple miracles He performed, even in the lives of many believers today, including mine, that there is a Saviour, the only One, for whoever needs saving from the darkness.

There would never have been the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ, His Death, Resurrection and Ascension if there had never been, first of all, His Birth.

God’s prophecy of the Birth of His Son is the One that leads all the other fulfilled prophecies and those still to be fulfilled at its appointed time.

The Birth of Christ is God’s Prophecy fulfilled, which leads to many other fulfilled prophecies like The Crucifixion, the Resurrection and the Ascension, etc. One of the first prophecies, the Birth of Christ, had to be fulfilled to open the way to many others.

This makes Christmas one of the most important yearly celebrations in the Christian faith.

“Don’t be afraid, Mary,” the angel told her, “for you have found favor with God! You will conceive and give birth to a Son, and you will name Him Jesus. He will be very great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give Him the throne of His ancestor David. And He will reign over Israel forever; His Kingdom will never end!” (Luke 1:30-33).
