Too Many Words of God to Obey In One Day
This message is for anyone who feels discouraged by the vast amount of information in the Bible. Elise Beatrice addresses the feeling of being overloaded by all the things you think you “should” do according to the Scripture.
“If we accumulate in our minds all the words of God in the Bible, we are to obey all the days of our lives, and focus on obeying them all in one day, it explodes our brains, though God’s words are life and health.
Doing so, we obey none, for we’re drained just by thinking about them.
If we take only the little amount God gives us daily to obey, we love and enjoy listening to His words, for we can’t live spiritually without them.
If we remind ourselves the many words of God piled up in our minds are what we would need all the days of our lives, distributed by the Lord to us in small amounts for each day, we joyfully obey them, for they are indeed our spiritual food, without which we’re lost forever.
If we let all the things we must do all the days of our lives become what we must do all today, it burdens us, wears us out, and we do not even do the small amount we must do each day.
Let us focus on what we must do today, do it right with love and joy and let God take care of the future.”
Elise Beatrice emphasizes the joy of obeying God and following His words. It’s not a burden but a source of strength and happiness.
This message is encouraging for both new and experienced believers. It offers a practical approach to living a life of faith, one step at a time.
Too Much food to eat In One Day
“If we accumulate before us all the enormous amount of food we must eat all the days of our lives and focus on eating all of it in one day, it becomes overwhelming and disgusting, though food is good.
If we do so, we eat nothing, for we feel sick just by thinking about it. But if we serve ourselves only with the small amount we must eat daily, we love and enjoy it, for we can’t live without it.
If we remind ourselves this amount of food piled up before us is what we would need all the days of our lives, distributed into little amounts for each day, we only see the small portion we need daily, eat it gladly and are satisfied. So, we do the same when it comes to God’s words.”
Thank You, Lord Jesus, for this inspiration.
